Mission and Vision
The Framework that defines Grace Fellowship Church’s ministry includes our mission, our values, our marks, and our map.
Mission The mission is to join God in Building a Community in order to Reach a Community – in essence – building and reaching.
Values
The body of GFC is represented by seven core values:
- Modeling Grace – embracing people where they are
- Living Truth – Conforming our beliefs, attitudes and actions to the Bible
- Demonstrating Love – Treating others as we would like to be treated
- Engaging Service – Using our treasure, talents and time to further God’s purposes
- Pursuing Growth – Seeking greater personal maturity in all situations
- Struggling Well – Facing reality with honesty, integrity and trust
- Reproducing Faith – Intentionally passing on our faith to others
Marks
We will continue to pursue the following growth markers known as our six dynamics of balanced Christian growth:
- Spiritually Vital – Cultivating an abiding relationship with the living and true God, growing in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
- Biblically Grounded – Established in biblical wisdom that forms our beliefs, which direct all aspects of life.
- Relationally Healthy – Humbly nurturing the expression of biblical love in all our relationships
- Personally Generous – Graciously sharing with others the time, talents, and materials resources God has provided us.
- Socially Responsible – Compassionately serving the people of our world through grace-motivated good works.
- Evangelistically Bold – Living out God’s love for the whole world by building authentic relationships and confidently communicating the good news of the Gospel with those who do not yet know Christ.
Map
We will follow a map known as Engage 4 Mission:
- Engage with Christ through weekly worship gatherings and intentional spiritual development and discipleship
- Engage with one another through environments of community building, small groups and serving
- Engage with the least through compassionate lifestyles and community transformation.
- Engage with the lost through living and sharing our faith
Vision
The Frame supports our ministry plan that we will wholeheartedly pursue over the next three years.
3-D Vision:
- Discipleship – Our vision if that Grace Fellowship Church be an unstoppable force of self-initiating, reproducing followers of Christ.
- Connection – Our prayer is that GFC be an interactive community that relates meaningfully and contributes memorably to our mission.
- Outreach – Our focus will be on GFC becoming a transformational presence that is making a measurable difference among the least and the lost.
