The Plan To Expand!
FACILITIES ARE JUST THAT. They facilitate the truly important functions of the church when the body is gathered together. The plan to expand our facilities at this time must meet crucial needs in virtually every area of the ministry. Here are the key highlights of what is planned:
• 800-900 additional parking spaces.
• Reconfiguration of the parking lot to allow for good traffic flow throughout.
• Additional entrances and exits on Antioch Road and Seminole Drive.
• Two children’s auditoriums where up to 300 kids can worship and learn together, along with numerous small group areas where children and adults relate to each other and apply Biblical teaching.
• A student auditorium where up to 350 middle or high school students can worship and learn together, along with several small group areas where students and adults can relate to each other and apply Biblical teaching.
• An auditorium seating 1,500 for corporate worship that includes state-ofthe- art sound and audiovisual equipment for communicating God’s Word to today’s culture. This space will also have multiple uses for other large group events.
• An “open and inviting” central lobby featuring a café, Resource Center,
Welcome Center, and places for conversation and interaction.
• A 450-seat multi-use auditorium in the refurbished existing auditorium for family worship between services and other mid-size events.
• Adequate office and storage space.
• Note: The master plan allows for each of the major ministry areas to be expanded as needed in the future to accommodate up to 2,500 people at one time. There is space designated for a 1,000 seat auditorium that would be used in addition to the 1,500 seat auditorium if needed.
